Stop in and stock up on groceries including locally grown Angus beef from a Farragut farmer and delicious baked goods.

Local long-time Farragut Farmer, Dave Laumann, opened the Farragut Harbor Cafe and Marketplace to share his passion for good quality beef, butchered right here in Southwest Iowa. Dave has been raising cattle since he was a boy, showing livestock at the Iowa State Fair.
There will always be a good selection of quality cuts of meat available to buy from the Marketplace anytime we’re open. If you want to stock your freezer, you’re always welcome to call ahead to get the cuts you want.
Save yourself cooking and enjoy Dave’s quality Angus beef served up to perfection.
Sweet Treats by Jolene Laumann
Whether you’re a pie guy or a brownie connoisseur, you’re sure to find a tasty treat to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Jolene makes fruit and cream pies weekly along with various cakes and caramel brownies. We can top any of these with ice cream on request. Don’t miss our fresh cinnamon rolls every Tuesday morning.
Don’t worry if you’re too full after your meal for dessert; take a tasty treat home with you.

We’re located on Main Street in Farragut, Iowa. Our town’s Main Street is actually called Hartford Avenue. Did you know that every street in the town of Farragut was named in honor of an event in Admiral Farragut’s life?
Farragut is approximately 10 miles from Shenandoah and Sidney, Iowa.
We’re only 25 miles from Nebraska City and 62 miles from Omaha, making a perfect getaway for some small town smiles, locally grown Angus beef and Iowa hospitality.
